Meg and my Mum xxx |
1: Spending the day with my sister and my Mum and getting to see my daughter Megan, who is at uni in Manchester, made a lovely girls' day out. I rarely leave Freddy, so to be able to have a grown-up day, happy in the knowledge that Fred was having a boys' day in with his Dad was a rare treat!
2: Chatting to the lovely PR lady from Typhoo about social media marketing made me feel like I was a part of a really exciting, expanding network. The potential for us in this media is so exciting. Our voice as women/mothers/bloggers is being heard and is growing in influence. I'm so glad to be a part of this phenomena, still in its infancy in the UK.
3: Coming home from my day out I was greeted by lovely cuddles from my girls. As it's normally me doing the school run, I miss out on the hugs that are born from having been missed. Me not being at the school gates for once let me be the one who they were excited to see arrive home! It made a nice change :)
