My Nan would have been 101 years old today. She was 98 years old when she died. She'd always insisted she did not want to live long enough to receive a telegram from the Queen. She was ready to go to her husband Bill and I firmly believe that they are up there in heaven dancing to her favourite song "The Last Waltz"!

She was a wonderful woman with so many tales to tell. She was full of love and had a special bond with Kizzy who she called her little star. Kizzy still looks up into the night sky and spots the brightest star and says "That's my big star Great Grandma!" Kizzy has a teddy that she calls Josephine and still takes it to bed with her at night. She never got to meet Freddy but we'll be sure that he hears all the stories and watches the home movies of his Great Grandma. Her memory will live on forever.
