The big, red, iconic Coca-Cola lorry is every bit as impressive as in the advert. With a little boy and a husband who love trucks, the spectacle was well worth going to see. We were treated to mini cans of Coke and Diet Coke as we queued to have our photos taken in front of the truck.
It was very chilly but the sun was shining and our cockles were warmed with Christmas music and Christmas helpers dressed in festive red coats. We loved the friendly Man Elves!
Telford was incredibly busy with Christmas shopping being carried out with gusto. The crowds definitely gave me hope for the economy, even though I personally don't enter into the madness of buying tonnes of presents for Christmas. Thankfully my kids accept and celebrate that this Christmas means family, food and fun in our house - so I'm under no pressure to get this year's must have gifts for the kids. A stocking filled with some goodies and a couple of presents under the tree have been sorted already. So I can relax a little knowing I won't be having to fight these crowds! However, I do like to take the children to Christmassy events and enjoy the whole of December with festive fun days out.
There are still loads of dates left on the Coca-Cola Truck Tour throughout December. Check the dates on the Coke Zone website.
