Bath Time With Ben 10 and Nemo

We loved the colourful eye-catching packaging on the Ben 10 products which promise to bring an exciting alien invasion to bath times!  The Ben 10 Super Charged Bath Bombs come in test-tube shaped containers making them look very intriguing!  They turn your bath tub into an alien laboratory for colourful experiments.  Each of the three varieties fizz up and turn the bath water a different shade.  Getting clean has never been such fan for Ben 10 fans!  The Orb Magic Facecloths come in Heatblast and Spidermonkey designs.  The soft, high quality flannels are packed into balls and magically expand after being soaked in the water.  The Bath and Shower Gel makes loads of bubbles and is gentle and moisturising.  It has a gentle fragrance and kids will love washing in the alien foam!

The design of the Finding Nemo products is simply lovely bringing an undersea adventure to bath time.  The cute characters are so appealing and the kids will have a whale of a time splashing in the tub.  The Squashy Bath Squirter Nemo is a big hit with Freddy!  Children can squirt water in the bath and on themselves, building water confidence and adding fun to bath time.  But grown-ups beware...you will get wet!  The Magic Facecloth comes in a Nemo or Squirt design and expand into a lovely soft cloth that encourages washing.  The Bath and Shower Gel lathers up a treat creating gentle, playful  bubbles to bathe in.  The bottle features a swimming Nemo effect which is really cute.  The kids loved it!

Having a gel that is suitable for both the bath and the shower is good for the older kids who have progressed to showering but still enjoy the fun of character merchandise.  Kizzy was pleased to take her own Nemo bottle into the shower with her and said she liked the smell and the fact that it was so bubbly on her skin.

Green People...Organic Children's Products

We've tried and tested lots of children's bath products and toiletries Inside the Wendy House.  So, when we were offered the chance to sample something from the Green People's children's range, we were only too pleased.  We chose the Organic Bath and Shower Wash with Aloe Vera, Ylang Ylang and Mandarin, because it sounded so lovely!!  8 year old Kizzy suffers from eczema.  It isn't as bad as it used to be when she was a baby, but she still gets large patches of skin which get inflamed and sore.  After a bath she often itches her skin as it gets irritated by the products and she ends up breaking the skin.  I read that this was particularly good for children with skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis, so I thought I'd use it with Kizzy to see if it would improve her problem.  2 year old Freddy is blessed with lovely skin, but I still like to use the best quality products on my precious little man.

The bath and shower gel is pure and organic, as well as being suitable for vegans.  It contains no Parabens, SLS/SLES, phthalates, other nasties or artificial fragrances at all.  The gel is hand made in small quantities ensuring freshness and quality.

The smell is fresh and zesty and the children couldn't wait to test it out in the bath.  We found that a little went a long way so you only need to use it sparingly.  With a sponge, it made lots of gentle foam which smelt lovely and felt luxurious.  Kizzy said it made her skin feel smooth and soft and she had no irritation at all.

Kizzy said "It's really bubbly and I really liked the smell!"

The Citrus and Aloe Vera Bath and Shower Gel is sold for £7.75 for a 200ml tube from Green People.  I would definitely recommend it to parents whose children suffer from eczema or psoriasis, or have sensitive skin.  It has been great for Kizzy.

Disney Toiletries...Fit For a Princess

When Kizzy received this package of Disney Princess Toiletries, she was over the moon!  She adores Disney  and enjoys nothing more than having her own pampering products.

The Strawberries and Cream Bath Bubbles came in a pretty pink bottle with Belle from Beauty and the Beast on it.

Kizzy was delighted because it had Belle's signature on the back, a lovely touch that little girls will love.

The Bubble Bath smelt really nice...a lovely, sweet strawberry fragrance.  It made a lovely bubbly tub full of bubbles.  They weren't very long lasting, but the scent lingered and the water felt soft. Kizzy loved this product.  It made her feel like a princess!

The Bath Confetti came in  a lovely triangular box.  It had a glittery, plastic heart shaped ring attached to the top.  It featured Ariel from The Little Mermaid, another Disney favourite.

The confetti was shaped like stillettos, crowns and hearts, and as it is made from soap, you can wash with it and it dissolves into the water.

Sprinkling a handful into the bath creates a fun bath time experience for your little princess!

The individual Bubble Bath Tropical Crush Jewel contains shimmery, pink bath foam, perfect for pampering your pretty princess.

It has a resealable nozzle so you can use it and seal it up for your next bath.  It smelled really sweet and fruity.

Adding to running water gives a luxurious, bubbly bath that smells gorgeous!

This was Kizzy's favourite product.  The heart shaped brush and mirror set cleverly folds up into a neat heart shape, that fits neatly into a pocket or a bag.

It features Ariel on the front, and will be loved by any Disney Princess fan.

The brush is gentle and untangles knots easily.  Kizzy loves this addition to her dressing table!  It is perfect for taking out and about or for keeping in her school bag.




This range of products really are perfect for pampering the little princesses in your life.  They encourage good personal hygiene, and at the same time are fun and have that little bit of added Disney magic!  They would make an ideal gift...and would be a great alternative to Easter Eggs for children who cannot have chocolate.

Bath Time Fun with Boots

Freddy absolutely hated bath time up until a few months ago.  They used to be a battle, but now they are a source of fun!  He splashes in the water, getting covered with the warm, bubbly water.  It is so important that the products we use are suitable for our little ones.  We've enjoyed trying out a lot of different bath products and tonight it was the turn of Boots Baby Sensitive Range.

Developed in consultation with a leading dermatologist, it is the mildest, gentlest product for baby's skin.  They leave skin feeling soft and smooth and stop irritation before bed time.  They are 100% colour free, fragrance free, hypo-allergenic and dermatologically tested.  They are mild enough to use from birth and are suitable for sensitive skin.

Boots sent us the Sensitive Moisturising Bath, priced at £1.99 for 400ml.  It provides gentle and caring cleaning.  When added to water it gave dense, small bubbles giving a creamy consistency to the bath.  It was fragrance free so left no perfume on Freddy's skin.  He splashed everywhere but didn't mind it going in his face and eyes.  His skin felt soft and he smelt fresh and clean.

Our daughter suffers from eczema and has flare-ups on her arms and legs.  She bathed in the Boots Sensitive Moisturising bath and it did not inflame her skin at all.  This is a real plus for us because she loves to relax in the tub, but it is difficult to find completely fragrance and colour free products that give bubbles but do not aggravate her.

Boots also sent us the Moisturising Baby Lotion and Baby Oil in this range.  They are perfect for moisturising baby's delicate skin.  Again these products are also good for Kizzy's sensitive skin.  And at £1.99 are a really cost effective option.  Also available is a Head to Toe Moisturising Wash and a Conditioning Shampoo. This is an excellent range at a really affordable price.  Worth checking out if you have an eczema sufferer in the family!

The Boots Fun Animal Sponge is a man made sponge that is specially made to be ultra soft.  We were sent a super cute blue elephant to try.  It has a really squidgy, soft texture and feels gentle as it glides across the skin.  It goes hard when dry, then softens up again in water.  At £2, it is a good cheaper alternative to natural sponge.

Boots also stock a fun range of Corine de Farme Disney Winnie the Pooh products that are ultra sensitive and created to be soft, soothing and safe from birth.  They leave skin soft and moisturised.   Each product has a cute picture of Winnie the Pooh with his Hundred Acre Wood pals on, which is sure to delight little ones!  Priced at £2.69 they are exclusive to Boots.
