Yesterday, I hosted a Jungle Junction Toy Party along with 15 other blogging mums across the country. We were sent loads of fabulous toys, cup cakes, colouring sheets and ideas for the food and activities. The parties ran from 4-6pm alongside a Twitter party hosted by UKMums.TV. The event was a massive success that got Jungle Junction trending on Twitter!!
The children happily played with the giant Jungle Junction Playset and the Race Launcher along with lots of characters including Taxicrab and his Boat. They did colouring sheets, made Plasticine models, designed new roadsigns (the 'No Spilling' sign invented by one of my guests was very appropriate as we had our first Tropical Cocktail drink spill about 10 minutes into our party!!) and ate a yummy themed tea of road sign pizza, munch crunch veg, chocolate cupcakes and Kizzy's Jungle Jumble Cupcakes! We watched Jungle Junction on TV as I'd been recording them all on my Sky Planner in readiness! Every child took home some lovely Jungle Junction goodies and prizes were won for the colouring and modelling.
It was pretty hectic, but it was a lot of fun for all the children who came to play!
Here is a photo collage of our party!

This morning, Freddy fell in love. Just look at his little face in this photo of him when the postman delivered him a big bundle of wonderful Disney Jungle Junction toys from Flair to test out.
Freddy Loves Jungle Junction
Freddy loves Jungle Junction which is a very popular BAFTA nominated hit Disney Junior show featuring animals who have 'wheels instead of feet' and who whizz around the jungle having adventures with their friends. The toys look exactly like their TV counterparts and have instant toddler appeal. With playsets, character figures and vehicles, there are loads of great toys that pre-schoolers, like my Freddy will adore!
Fussy Bunny Bungo
The plush Bungo toy was a real hit with its soft body and real wheels. Freddy whizzed it around the floor and said it was 'perfect'! Must be good! It stands 20cm tall and is really cuddly with working wheels. I really liked the idea of it being two toys in one...something to hug and something to zip along!
Gotta Spin Our Wheels
The Wheel Around Fun Set includes Ellyvan, Bungo and Zooter, two signs, a cardboard playmat and some road sign stickers. The little wheel along characters allow pre-schoolers to act out their favourite Jungle Junction moments. The playmat comes folded so it doesn't sit completely flat making it hard to stand up the road signs. Mounting it onto some sturdy card would solve this easily. Freddy loves the set and made the characters talk to each other. He really embraced the role play element of the toy which was a joy to watch.
Ellyvan....Gotta Zip!
Hello Bungo, Hello Zooter!
The Ellyvan Pull Back Character is a nice sized vehicle which when pulled back will wheel away under its own steam. His trunk spins around making a clicking sound and his rear doors open. It is the perfect size for little hands to zip it around.
Pull Back Ellyvan
Giving Zooter a Ride Inside Ellyvan!
The Ellyvan Bath Toy is made of squishy rubber and blows water out of his trunk for some squirty, splashy fun. In addition to bath time, it is also perfect for water play outside on a sunny day, bringing pre-schooler's favourite characters into their play time.
All the Jungle Junction toys have given rise to some really engaging play with Freddy acting out scenes from the hit TV show, making the characters talk to each other and whizzing them about the floor. Any fans of Disney Junior will love these toys which are part of the fabulous range of Jungle Junction toys from Flair.
I said I wasn't going to do this week's Listography because my top 5 searches leading to my blog aren't very interesting. Some people have such mind boggling search words that have landed random searchers to their blog such as Kate's intriguing "peas" and "Chewbacca". Mine are a little more starightforward...but still deserve to be shared!! It is a great subject for Listography!
1: The Notebook / Notebook Quotes
This is a bit of a controversial subject. My daughter had posted on her blog Not Met Megan, a lovely picture from her favourite film "The Notebook" with a Noah & Allie love quote written across it. It received 2000 hits from the USA in a week. I honestly did not mean to steal her thunder when I put her picture on a post that I wrote about her...but I did! Sorry Meg. 'The Notebook' has become the most searched for phrase to land you on my blog. Anyone expecting Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams were sorely disappointed to find me saying I was looking forward to watching chick flicks with my gorgeous girl when she was home from uni. Her blogpost was by far superior and deserves every hit that I stole from the American's searching for Noah Callhoun. *hangs head in shame*
2: Horsemanning
Yes I jumped on the photo-taking bandwagon and took piccies of my girls horsemanning! It is a popular craze and people search for examples of it. I hope I didn't disappoint!
Horsemanning
3: Japanese Snow Monkeys
When an early post of mine scored pageview over pageview I was a tad confused. I soon realised it wasn't because the world loved my Christmas Ponderings post, but because my image was taking the top spot in Google searches for Japanese Snow Monkeys. Life lesson learned!!
4: Graco Symbio
As the winner of the 2010 Graco Ambassador competition, I have posted loads of videos, photos and reviews on the Graco Symbio pushchair. Searching for Graco products might make you arrive at my blog...sorry you can't buy one here!!
5: Jungle Junction
One review post has generated lots of traffic from Playhouse Disney fans looking for Zooter, Elefan and Bungo. The video I made on YouTube has had over 6000 hits too...clearly a popular subject!
Jump across to Kate's Listography for more Search Words that are far more interesting than mine!!
Jungle Junction is a huge hit with us here Inside the Wendy House. The Disney Junior BAFTA nominated TV show stars animals who live in the jungle with "wheels instead of feet"! I was very excited when Flair created a range of toys based on the show. I saw the Jungle Playset at Christmas in July and loved it. I was even more excited when I was sent the Jungle Junction Hippobus and Beetle Bugs Play Set and the Wheel Around Fun Set to review with my Tiny Testers Freddy and Kizzy.
The Jungle Junction Play Set at Christmas in July.
The play sets bring to life the fun of Jungle Junction for children to enjoy in their own home. Pre-Schoolers can re-enact the fast moving adventures from the jungle with the familiar characters from their favourite TV show.
The Hippobus is a big yellow, smiley school bus who takes the Beetle Bugs safely to school. The Play Set comes complete with five colourful beetle bugs plus stop and go signs to see them safely across the road! The Hippobus has working sounds, just press his ear and the bus erupts into the giggles of the Beetle Bugs, their boinging sounds or the bus horn beeping. The side of the bus opens up to reveal rows of colour coded seats for the bugs which encourages early colour recognition and a slide. The bus is robust and beautifully made. It comes complete with batteries so it is ready to be played with! All the accessories store neatly inside when not in use. A cardboard jungle scenery play mat and stickers are included.
The set was the perfect size for Freddy's little hands and he loved whizzing the bugs down the slide and wheeling Elebus along.
The Wheel Around Fun Set features Ellyvan, Bungo and Scooter who can zoom around their own cardboard play mat. The set includes road signs and stickers to add to the fun! The individual characters can be wheeled along the road in their own adventures.
The sets can be added to with free wheeling figures that come individually or in duo packs.
The Jungle Junction toys are fun, colourful, well made and will provide hours of fun for Disney Junior fans.
