Show Off Your Photos with Snapbox

Snapbox make perfect keepsakes to free your favorite images from your all your photographic devices.  The photos are printed onto stretched canvas and then suspended in a matt black photo frame which can be freestanding or wall mountable.

They come in five different sizes from 5" x 5" to 10" x 13".  The square prints are perfect for Instagram images.  They all come with pre-installed hanging hardware.

I was given the chance to make a Snapbox print.  I opted for a 9" x 9" Snapbox print.  I couldn't decide on a single image so made a square collage using Picmonkey that featured all five of my children plus my baby grandson.  This collage was then uploaded to the Snapbox site and within seconds I had ordered my print. (Prints can also be emailed across.)  The website is fun to use, user friendly and the process is very simple.

My Original Collage

I was very impressed by the speed of delivery.  I ordered it on the 6th November, it arrived on the 9th.  The framed canvas print was extremely well boxed up and was in perfect condition.  You really couldn't hope for better service.

As soon as I saw it, I was delighted with the quality and the unique design. It exceeded my expectations and is so much more than just a framed print.  It is really stunning. The collage was printed onto the canvas perfectly.  This was then suspended within the thick, black frame giving a great effect to the finished product.  The hanging hook meant I could hang it on my wall straight away and it attached securely to a nail in my hall wall.  The print looked impressive and I was pleased with my idea to make a square collage.  Now I've got all the little people in my life perfectly displayed on my wall.

Prices range from £19.99 for the 9" x 9" print up to £49.99 for a 10" x 13" print making them very affordable pieces of art.  There is the option to edit your images to apply a filter giving a sepia, black and white or vintage effect, but I kept mine as it was.

I love the unique design.  I love the speed of ordering and delivery.  I love the simplicity of the product and I adore the end result.  Snapbox provides a quick and easy way to liberate images from hard drives to become beautiful pictures for the home.  Photos tell a story and this is a lovely way to those display special moments from your life.

The Gallery...April

April has been a hectic month!  With birthdays, Easter, family, a Royal Wedding, sunshine and towards the end illness...it has been eventful!

Tara has challenged us to sum up April in one photograph.  After much deliberation I have chosen this one.

Freddy has loved the warm weather.  As soon as he gets up he goes to the back door saying "Garden!"  We have planted our potted garden and Freddy has taken such delight in digging in the dirt and watching the shoots grow.  He grabs the watering can and waters the seedlings everyday.  He loves watering so much that the can is usually emptied before he gets to the pots!

This picture of Freddy in his PJ top and wellies with his watering can really sums up our April!

The Gallery...Expressions

Tara's prompt for this week's Gallery is "Expressions".  I've decided to dedicate this week's entry to my eldest son.  Here are a selection of photographs where my gorgeous boy's expression have made my pictures more interesting!  He makes it his mission to pull a face as the shutter clicks...he does a really good job!

The Gallery...Togetherness

I'm dedicating this week's entry to the Gallery to my parents.  They've been married now for 55 years and are still very much in love.  They are an inspiration to the family and are perfect role models for the sanctity of marriage.  They sum up the theme of togetherness perfectly.

Young love.

Courting.
Marriage.
Parents.
Grandparents

Togetherness.

The Gallery...Love

When I thought about this week's theme I considered all different aspects of love.  The love I have for my husband, the love for my beautiful children.... my love of cake maybe!!  But then I thought about the love that made me most proud!  That is the love between my children.  I love how all five of my children get on so well.  I've never had to sort out a situation between warring siblings  They may have the odd squabble but it's never escalated into anything greater than that.  They are so supportive and openly affectionate with each other.  They make me proud!

The Gallery: Sparkle

The photo I have chosen for this week's Gallery epitomises the theme.  Pictures of my Christmas Trees past pale into insignificance next to this photograph.  This is my Nan, who lived to be 98 years old.  We miss her sparkling personality so much, especially at this time of year.  I love this picture taken on her  birthday.  I adore her sparkly cardigan, her sparkling jewellery and the sparkle in her eyes. She was one wonderful lady!   Bless her. xxx

Before and After...The Gallery

This week's theme was to recreate an old photograph.  I immediately thought of a pair of photos I already had in my collection which would fit the theme perfectly.  In July 2009, I gave birth to my little boy Freddy.  Introducing him to his Grandad was a very emotional experience.  He'd cradle his newborn grandson in his arms and look down with a mixture of love and pride as he studied the as yet unknown face, taking in every feature.  This year in June 2010, my sister gave birth to her baby boy Dylan.  Again Grandad looked at the latest fruit from his family tree in the exact same way.  See for yourself...

Seasons : Winter's First Snow

I've just discovered The Gallery and have enjoyed looking at some wonderful photographs within some lovely blogs.  Fabulous pictures capture the weekly theme and are shared and enjoyed...and I'd love to be a part of it!

Winter:  There is nothing more magical than the first flurries of winter snow.  The children grab their hats, scarves and gloves and hurry out into the garden eager to make footprints in the unblemished blanket that covers the ground.  Snowball fights and snowman construction ensues.  The top picture shows my three girls sitting on their giant snowball that they'd rolled round and around gathering snow making it bigger and bigger!  Very quickly the novelty wears off though and freezing fingers and numb toes make the lure of the warm house very attractive.  We pull off wellies and peel off frosty, wet socks. Scarves and hats and gloves hang over radiators dripping onto the floor.  Hands are warmed on mugs of delicious hot chocolate.  We all snuggle up under our slankets, rosy cheeks aglow!
