The bath is not just for cleaning and washing,

It's a place for fun and splishing and sploshing!

A place for imagination and play.

A place to unwind at the end of the day.

When little Freddy jumps himself in,

Submerging himself right up to this chin,

Immersed in a sea of bubbly bubbles

Full of magical fun, free from all troubles.

My little schoolboy is quite discerning,

Enjoying mixing play with learning,

Is something he is doing well,

Making words, spelling names,
Learning while he plays his games!

Like a fleet of alphabetical boats.

And when bathtime is over for another day,

The letters are easy to pack away.

Then drain with the lid...this is so cool!

Munchkin at Bath Time

Munchkin knows that it's the little things that often make the biggest difference, which is why they have designed a range of fabulous products to make life as a parent easier and more exciting!

I was excited to be sent some Munchkin goodies to try out with my Tiny Testers Inside the Wendy House.  We were given Munchkin Sea Squirt bath squirters, a Safety Bath Duck and a Snack Catcher to try out.

The Sea Squirt bath squirters are  collection of five adorable sea characters.  They are the perfect size and softness for small hands to hold and squeeze.  Suitable for toddlers 9 months and older, they are perfect for bathtime or water play.  They provide an ocean of fun for your little squirts!  Kizzy and Freddy played  with them in a tub of water in the garden and had a "whale" of a time!!

The Safety Duck is an unique product that incorporates playtime with safety!  The adorable traditional rubber duckie has a White Hot Safety Disc on the bottom which tells you if baby's bath water is too hot.  Forget all that elbow dipping!  This is a foolproof way of making sure that the water is the right temperature.  It can be used from birth as a safety aid and will become a favourite bath toy as your baby gets older.  It is watertight so it won't sink, squirt or mildew.

This is such a clever idea and so straightforward to use.  If it says HOT then it is too hot...you can't misinterpret that!  This is one less thing to worry about at bath time!

It is great to see products that make bath time a safer and more entertaining experience!

Brother Max Bath Toys

When Brother Max offered me the chance to test one of their products I enjoyed looking through the website.  So many of the products have won awards!  The "Simple Clever Ideas" philosophy has lead to a stunning range of products that really do offer something a bit different.  I chose to test the Bath Toys with my Tiny Tester Freddy!

The Bath Toys encourage learning through play and also encourage washing.  They incorporate materials that we use for personal hygiene, providing a fun introduction to getting clean.  The textures and shapes make for a really tactile and interesting set of bath toys.

Brother Max's design also includes a safety feature.  Heat sensitive spots turn yellow if the water temperature gets too high.  A simple element that gives peace of mind at bath time.

The toys really look unique.  Children respond to interesting shapes and colours.  Freddy was fascinated by the toys and experimented with them watching how the water dripped through or poured off them.  He watched how they floated, tried to sink them and really explored the shapes and textures.  He scooped up water and bubbles with the sprinkler cup, brushed his hair and traced his finger around the twister pattern on the flannel.  He was completely engaged with the toys and definitely learning through play.

The Brother Max Bath Toys are BPA free which is something I hold in really high regard.  The material parts on the toys are completely hand washable and the Twister Flannel can be washed in the washing machine to keep it hygienically clean.  The recommended age range on the Bath Toys is 10 months to 4 years so they are a long lasting investment for bath time fun!  

I loved the unique designs and Freddy thoroughly enjoyed playing with them in the bath.  I would highly recommend Brother Max to parents looking for innovative solutions and exciting, thoughtful products for their babies and toddlers.  The Bath Toys are simply inspired!
