Christmas Day is just two weeks away! We're counting down Christmas with our elves who have been up to all sorts of funny antics. Freddy has loved discovering what they've been up to each morning. They've hidden in the fridge, played hide and seek, swung on the curtain pole and climbed our Christmas tree.
Now our elves have the chance to become superstars by taking part in the Elves Got Talent competition!
HAVE YOUR ELVES GOT TALENT?
The official Elves Behavin' Badly duo Elfie and Elvie have been taking
part in the Elves Got Talent auditions, with their adventures being shared across social media. Now it's the turn of your Elves to get performing.
From Tuesday 12th December the Elves Got Talent auditions
are being opened to all Elves Behavin' Badly fans. To enter, you just have to make a video of
your Elves posing, performing and showcasing their elf talents.
Entries must be submitted by midnight Monday 18th December
2017.
The team of judges will then create a shortlist of the most talented elves and the overall winner will be announced on Wednesday 20th
December. The winner will receive an Elf Hamper and an Elves Got Talent Trophy!
The Wild! Science Global Science Challenge is an exciting opportunity for one budding young scientist to win an amazing family holiday to Orlando! Science products for the lucky winner.
To enter, all you need to do is buy any Wild! Science Kit and send a copy of the receipt along with your online application.

You can be as creative as you like, using drawings to make your entry stand out from the crowd. There is a printable 'My Idea' form online to help you present your original idea to the judges.
Click through for more details
Wild! Science Kits give kids aged 8 and over everything they need to create some wonderful things and do some exciting experiments, showcasing the power of science in a fun and educational way. The instruction books contain plenty of fascinating scientific facts alongside comprehensive illustrated instructions and safety information. It's great to see products that make the STEM subjects so exciting and accessible to children.
We received a Lava Lamp and Glitter Tube Factory to try out. Kids can create dazzling, optical effects by reflecting light from glitter and bubbling water. The glitter tube suspends glitter in glycerine, each tiny piece acting as a mirror, reflecting and scattering the light emitted from a colourful LED. The lava lamp uses a fizzy chemical reaction between an acid and a base to produce carbon dioxide gas that bubbles between two layers of liquids (water and oil) which have different densities. Children are learning about physical and chemical properties through creative and fun experiments and producing lovely end products.
Kezia, aided by little brother and budding scientist Freddy, enjoyed making the lava lamp and glitter tube. The instructions are very clear and they learned lots of scientific facts in a hands on and engaging way.
At £14.99 they are great value sets and with the added incentive of the global challenge, there has never been a better time to buy one.

There are only a few days left for Doritos fans to take part in their latest promotion and try one of the new duo of flavours – Sizzling Salsa (Doritos A) or Ultimate Cheeseburger (Doritos B). Be quick though, because only one flavour can stay and the other will be
eliminated!
The decision lies with the public. We get the chance to enter a pretty cool competition with the chance of winning a £20, 000 prize by telling Doritos whether we want to eliminate #DoritosA or #DoritosB and then come up with an idea on how the elimination should take place. Should they be thrown into a volcano? Fed to ravenous hounds? Sent to outer space? The
winner will also have their idea turned into an
animation so the funniest most creative ideas will work best.
Doritos A is a Sizzling Salsa flavour, which packs
the punch of a fresh and tangy tomato dip. Doritos B is Ultimate Cheeseburger flavoured. For me, it's Sizzling Salsa all the way! It combines the taste of the dip with the crunchy chip. Perfect for parties, film nights and snacking.
You have until September 4th to try both before deciding which
flavour you’ll eliminate, revealing your boldest idea of how the losing flavour should be obliterated.
To enter, simply tweet @DoritosUK and say whether
you’d eliminate #DoritosA or #DoritosB and how it should be done. Be bold, be funny and be sure to enter!
Doritos A and Doritos B flavours have an RRP of £1.99 for a
200g bag and are available for a limited time only alongside the existing
Doritos range from stores nationwide. For more information visit www.doritos.co.uk.

This week, Blossom Magazine has launched a brilliant
competition for their readers. The
#IWantToBe campaign is asking young readers to submit a video entry of what
they want to be when they grow up.
In each edition of the magazine, Blossom features a different career to show girls they can aspire to be whoever they want to be - whether it's an airline pilot, an author or a doctor. It's great to see a magazine aimed at young girls, which promotes the fact that they can aspire to do any job...even that of the Prime Minister!
As a little girl I distinctly remember wanting to be a vet. I loved animals and would leaf through the pages of my dad's wildlife encyclopedias learning about all the different creatures of the world. At school I loved biology, and refused to do animal dissections on moral grounds. It was during my early teens that I first decided to go vegetarian on the basis of loving animals and would listen to The Smiths "Meat is Murder" religiously! However, it turns out that the veterinary business was never my vocation. Ironically for an animal mad kid, nowadays I am not an animal person at all. I don't have any pets. Funny how you change over the years!
When she was younger, Kizzy wanted to be a scientist and had a huge interest in all things related to science, conducting experiments in the kitchen using household items. Kizzy is now 11 and has set her sights on becoming a make-up artist or stylist. She loves fashion and cosmetics and shows a real flair for design, knowing how to put together specific looks and styles. It will be interesting to see where life takes her and whether she will achieve her dream.
So why not get together with your daughter to record and submit a video to the competition. As well as giving them a chance to win a wonderful trip to London, it will also be something quite amazing to look back on in the future, reminding you of what your little girl wanted to be when she grew up!
Full t's & c's are in the current edition of Blossom magazine available now.
I love displaying my favourite photographs in my home. Liberating the virtual images from my hard drive and creating beautiful works of wall art is a wonderful way to showcase much loved pictures.
I've been given the chance to make a canvas with Canvas Design and I chose a photo of my three girls and Freddy taken at the Alton Towers Scarefest last October. I love the autumnal colours, the detail, the composition and the kids' faces as they smile for the camera in front of them.
The end result is absolutely brilliant. This photo does not do it justice. The colour, the print quality and clarity of the canvas is wonderful. It is well constructed with a deep pine frame and a tight cotton canvas, and comes ready to hang. The service is speedy and efficient with 48 hour delivery and the online prices are really competitive. Prices start at just £7.99 for a 6 x 6" canvas and delivery is free.
A bespoke canvas would make an excellent gift for Mother's Day or any other special occasion.
You can get a big 15% discount off when ordering from Canvas Design using the code BLOG15
PLUS this is your chance to win your very own canvas from Canvas Design using an image of your choice.

One of the Christmas chores that I put off until the last minute is the wrapping of Christmas presents. It's always a rushed last minute affair, hindered by battling rolls of sticky tape! This year, things are going to be made so much easier thanks to my Scotch Pop-Up Handband Dispenser. No more struggling to find the end of a roll of tape, getting rogue pieces stuck on my wrapping paper or wishing I had two pairs of hands to hold, cut, stick and wrap all at the same time. Oh no! Scotch Pop-Up Handband dispenses pre-cut tape strips and allows you to keep both hands free for wrapping. It saves time, gives a professional finish and avoids a sticky tape mess.
The Handband makes wrapping parcels safer as you don't need scissors to cut the tape and there are no sharp edges involved. The pre-cut, individually dispensed pieces of Scotch Tape make the job safe enough for a child to do. So you can get the kids to help out when it comes to wrapping up gifts for the grandparents, friends or their teacher. The tape pieces simply pull out from the slot in the top of the dispenser which is worn comfortably on the back of the hand.
Tips for Easy Gift Wrapping
Sometimes you get a gift that isn't square or rectangular and it can make the job so much harder! If you have any awkwardly shaped parcels you can make your life easier by boxing them up into a wrapped up grocery carton filled with shredded tissue paper.
If you have anything that is round to wrap up, it's much easier to use a festive tea towel or scarf instead of gift wrap, securing it with tape then tying it at the top with a ribbon.
Get the kids to make wrapping paper using a design such as fingerprint robins or handprint reindeer. No one will notice how well the package is wrapped, they will be too busy admiring the kids' artwork!
Use ribbons and bows to make a parcel look really special. They can disguise any wrapping that isn't 100% professional looking.
Use some twigs, pine cones or mistletoe to decorate the top of the parcel to give it an 'au naturel' festive feel.
The Scotch Brand from 3M is making a £10,000 donation to the Starlight Children’s Foundation this Christmas. Starlight brightens the lives of seriously and terminally ill children by wish granting and also by providing fun, entertainment, laughter and distraction for children in every children’s hospital ward and hospice throughout the United Kingdom.
Tom Chambers, of Holby City and Strictly fame, helped with a present drop bringing Christmas joy to lots of children who received gifts. Here are some lovely photos of Tom with the delighted children.
Also this Christmas, Scotch have put the their products to the test by challenging a team of rugby players to use the Scotch Handband Dispenser to wrap up a load of presents. Even the most heavy handed gift wrapper will find the Handband makes the job so much easier, quicker and efficient! Watch this video to see how the lads got on.

I can't wait to take the kids to see Disney's latest movie, Frozen, especially after listening to the original soundtrack. The songs from the film took me back to the Ashford and Menken glory days of Disney songwriting. Each of the eight original songs propels the storytelling and adds emotion and humour. "Let It Go" sung by Demi Lovato delivers a poignant and powerful message about self discovery. It would make a perfect stand alone chart song, it's very credible and relevant with a great catchy and empowering chorus. Other songs represent a return to Disney's musical excellence. "Do You Want To Build a Snowman?" is a heart tugging tune filled with raw emotion whilst Olaf's "In the Summer" is laugh out loud funny! The score is inspired and epic, embracing the beauty of the setting and the emotion of the story. The music takes you on a wonderful journey. If this CD is anything to go by, Frozen is going to be a beautiful and stunning movie!
We have 3 copies of ‘Frozen’ The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack - which features a recording by Demi Lovato - to give away. Frozen OST is out to buy on 2nd December and includes music and songs from the festive new movie from Disney.
To enter simply fill in the Rafflecopter entry form and tell me what your favourite Disney song is as a blog comment. This will unlock bonus entries! The prizedraw closes at 11.59am on the 5th December. Good luck.
