UNICEF Christmas Cards

This year, if you are looking to buy personalised Christmas cards for personal or corporate use, then  UNICEF is offering  a service where at least 37% of the final price (less VAT) goes to the charity.  You can create your own card design by uploading a favourite photograph or a child's drawing to become the picture on the front of the card.  A personalised greetings message can also be added, alongside your name, address, phone number, email or website details.

I was lucky enough to make my own set of personalised cards so I could try out the service.  The website was easy to negotiate with each stage being clearly set out.  You get to preview your card along the way so you can be sure that the design and personalisation is as you want it.  You can choose the font you want for the inside of the card, editing the greeting message and adding any personal details that you want.  Again you can preview it before ordering.  Photo cards start at 89p each for a pack of 50 cards.

Within five days, your pack of beautifully made cards arrive at your door.  The card is thick and glossy and the printing is sharp using high quality print.  The UNICEF logo and information is printed on the back of the card so your recipients know that your card purchase is supporting this great charity and helping to save children's lives.

I am really impressed by my personalised photo cards and look forward to sending them to my loved ones this year and spreading the word about UNICEF.  Getting Freddy into his shepherd's costume and smiling was quite a feat which I hope everyone who receives one appreciates!!  That was the most difficult part of making the cards!

Personalised Cards For Every Occasion From Scribbler & A Discount Code!

Are you looking for personalised cards that are well designed with an edgy sense of humour?  Do you have something to tell someone and want to do it in a fun and unique way?  Would you like to send the perfect Valentine's card to your loved one?  Then look no further...Scribbler have a range of personalised cards that can literally be adapted to any occasion!

I was given the opportunity to try out Scribbler's website for myself to create a personalised Valentine's Day card for my husband Ian.  After changing my settings in order to view the rude cards (the website defaults to keep the X Rated stuff hidden) I had so much fun looking at the designs.

How about this one for a bit of risqué romance?

I love the range of Knit and Purl cards featuring knitted characters that are just too cute!  I quite liked the vegetarian angle of this one!

There is a great selection of Fridge Magnet designs spelling out messages.  Some are sweet and cute, some are a bit racy and some are downright dirty!!  So whatever you want to convey to your Valentine, you can say it in fridge magnets!

This design was one of my favourites and gave me a bit of a giggle!  It's definitely a bit different to the typical Valentine's cards you find in some shops.  Very original!

I really like the originality of the designs and the range is really extensive.  There are romantic cards and there are filthy cards and everything in between.  So whoever you are planning on sending a card to, you'll find something that fits the bill.  There are designs for every level of relationship from secret admirer to happily married.

All the cards have some level of personalisation.  You can change some of the text on the front of the cards, adding a name for example. Some require a photo upload to put your recipient directly in the picture.  Inside you have free reign to add a personalised message across both pages.

I think I have yet again gone for the safe option with my photo card option for Ian, but I love my Top Sante photoshoot pics so much I wanted to use them for something!

A medium sized card is competitively priced at £2.99 + 50p P&P.  I ordered mine yesterday morning and by the afternoon had an email telling me it had already been shipped!  How is that for service!  You can have the card delivered straight to the recipient or have it posted to yourself with a blank envelope if you plan to give the card in person.  Mine arrived today with a snazzy green envelope to give it to Ian in.  The quality of the card is good with glossy card and crisp printing.

Scribbler has kindly offered a 20% discount code for readers of Inside the Wendy House to use against any cards in their range.  Simply fill in the Coupon Code section as you checkout with the code ITWH2512.  Perfect with Valentine's Day coming up...and don't forget Mother's Day on March 18th!!  Click here to go to the website now!

Father's Day Cards are the Dog's Doodahs!

For my anniversary in May, I made Ian a personalised anniversary card from The Dog's Doodahs. I loved the quality of the card, the ease of making it, the service and the choice available.  They sell an extensive range of cards for all occasions including Funny Birthday Cards from the UK's leading humorous card publishers.  No other company offers such a range of cheeky, saucy, sexy, hilarious, laugh out loud or downright rude cards!

With Father's Day on June 19th, I've made another card courtesy of The Dog's Doodahs.  Again, I enjoyed browsing through the 149 designs and admit to having quite a few giggles at some of the verses! The range goes from cute photo cards through to risque cartoons...so there is something for everyone and their dad!

The cards can be personalised to incorporate names, photographs and personal details which make them perfect for even the most difficult to shop for daddy!

My teenager Ella helped with making this card and she found the website very easy to use.  She chose a photo card that used a picture of the three youngest kids.  She personalised the text on the front and on the inside of the card and was ready to go!

The service at the Dog's Doodahs is brilliant.  The card arrived the next working day.  Order by 2pm and it will be posted First Class on the same day!  They send emails to keep you informed of your order status.  These mails are as amusing as the site itself...the guys at The Dog's Doodahs are a funny bunch who put a smile on your face at every step!

The card is big, glossy and printed on good quality card.  It arrived with a separate envelope, but you can have it posted directly to the recipient if you prefer.  The cost is £3.50 plus 49p p&p which is a good price for a personalised card of this quality.

If you are looking for a chucklesome card that is a bit different from the ones you find on the high street then look no further than The Dog's Doodahs....the funnier and slightly ruder personalised greetings card website!  So get your funny birthday cards, saucy anniversary cards and hilarious Father's Day cards from The Dog's Doodah's!
