Four out of my five kids were home with me and I had a phonecall from my eldest son who told me he thought about me all day every day and not just on Mother's Day.

I enjoyed a day of fun, laughter, music, movies and love.  What more could I ask for?

I know that I am so lucky to be a mum and I count my blessings everyday.

This is one of the first posts I wrote as a blogger "Being A Mother..." This is the role that has defined me for my entire adult life and will continue to do so for evermore.  A role that I am proud, honoured and humbled to fulfil.   

The Best Mother's Day Present Ever

             My daughter Ella gave me the best Mother's Day present that she could give me.  She wrote me a song and performed it for me as well as putting it onto YouTube for me to watch over and over again.  I am so proud of her and so delighted that I got my own song for Mother's Day.  I wept buckets when we sang it to me earlier!!  So here it is...a celebration of mothers everywhere!

I was sent a selection of Simple Radiance products to test out and review.  The pack design is very fresh and springlike.  I received Eye Make Up Removal Pads, Facial Wash, Eye Cream and SPF10 Brightening Moisturiser, all containing "mango goodness for healthy glowing skin".
The moisturiser and eye cream are very light and easily absorbed.  They are completely fragrance free...this really is simple facial skincare.  They made my skin feel soft and smooth.  The eye make-up removal pads are so convenient, effective and gentle.  They remove every trace of mascara without stinging.  The Facial Wash is creamy and non-greasy and made my skin feel fresh and clean as it removes impurities.  My skin can sometimes dry out and feel tight but these products did not cause any such reaction.  Simple really are 'the experts in sensitive skin'!
