Smencils Smell Challenge #getkidswriting

Smencils are scented pencils that come in lots of fragrances, to make writing more fun!  Each Smencil is a chunky no.2 graphite pencil, which is made of 100% recycled newspaper. They come in an individual recyclable plastic tube with a collectible character top cap. They are perfect for stationery addicts and will encourage kids to get writing.

We were invited to take part in a Smencils Challenge to celebrate National Stationery Week. We received a pack of five and Freddy agreed to be blindfolded as he tried to guess the scents of the Smencils.

Having stationery that is colourful and fun can be a real incentive for children to pick up a pencil and write. Even reluctant learners like my Freddy can't resist the lure of a fabulously scented Smencil!
