Swimbabes

With September fast approaching, I for one am busy sorting out all my Back to School essentials.  With Kizzy going into Year 4 of Primary School she will be doing swimming lessons which means I need to get her a suitable costume and the other paraphernalia necessary for a weekly visit to the local pool.

Thankfully for me I have discovered Swimbabes.  They are not only one of the leading UK providers of baby swimming lessons in the North of England, they also have an excellent specialist online swim shop selling all kinds of goodies for in the pool.  They also stock cute clothing collections and essentials in the following ranges: Beachbabes, Travelbabes, Puddlebabes and Snowbabes.

The Swimbabes range includes costumes, wetsuits, kits, swim nappies, water confidence games, floats, armbands, goggles, caps, bags, towels and toys.  It is brilliant to find such a comprehensive range of swimming essentials all in one place.  It can be so difficult to find swimming costumes and accessories in the shops all year round, so Swimbabes is a brilliant idea.

The School Swim Kits are ideal for school age swimmers.  The kits are by leading swimwear supplier Zoggs and there is a version for both boys and girls in sizes for ages 7-14 years.  I was sent a Girls' Kit for Kizzy to try out on her return to school.  It contained an essential Zoggs Cottleshoe school costume in Royal Blue, Zoggs Junior Goggles and Silicone Swim Cap all in a turquoise Zoggs Drawstring Bag.  This whole set sells for £19.99 saving 20% off the individual prices if purchased separately.

This kit is perfect for school or for swimming lessons in general, providing all the essentials.  The sizing on the costumes is not generous but the 9-10 size was fine for 8 year old Kizzy.

The boys' version contains a pair of Zogg's Hip Racer Trunks along with the other items.  It sells for £16.99.

Kizzy loved the idea of having the matching kit and bag.  It is very smart and the quality is great.  She will really look the part in her swimming lessons. Now all we have to do is teach her to swim!!
